Due to the size of the Island, it is very important that our guests make plans well in advance. We have reserved blocks of rooms at local hotels and also recommend looking into house rentals in the city of Avalon. In addition, it is important to book your ferry tickets in June. There is a Blues festival & Film festival the weekend of the wedding and the boats tend to fill up fast!

The Glenmore Plaza is a beautiful refurbished Victorian hotel in the middle of Avalon. They do not have the greatest website, however the rooms are fresh with great linens and the price is hard to beat. We currently have reserved 10 rooms at a reduced rate under Friel / Virostko.
